CHRIS GERMAIN
OWNER/MASTER TECHNICIAN
Chris Germain, owner of ReinCARnation Garage, has been passionate about cars since day one. He began his career in 1988 at a locally owned Toyota dealership, quickly becoming one of the youngest technicians to earn Master Toyota Technician Certification, later achieving the prestigious title of Master Diagnostic Technician.
With a deep appreciation for vintage automobiles and decades of hands-on experience, Chris specializes in both domestic and imported vehicles—with a particular love for 50s, 60s, 70s domestics as well as vintage Toyotas, and classic Japanese imports. He's a top notch problem solver and his trouble-shooting skills have made him the go-to in many situations over the years.
TODD MCKINNEY
SHOP MANAGER / INTERIORS / BODY WORK / MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECH
With a lifelong passion for classic cars—and a soft spot for Ford Falcons and Volkswagens—Todd McKinney brings both precision and personality to every project at ReinCARnation Garage. Backed by years of hands-on experience in project management, electrical systems, and mechanical repair, Todd knows how to keep things running smoothly in the shop and on the road.
From coordinating complex builds to working directly with customers, Todd is the connective tissue between vision and execution. He’s spent decades developing strong relationships, solving problems on the fly, and making sure no detail gets overlooked—skills he now brings to the world of custom restorations and vintage vehicle maintenance. A skilled tech, electrician, and natural leader (Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor, and Wood Badge grad), Todd doesn’t just support the team—he elevates it.
JAMES BOWLER
WELDER/METAL FAB/BODYWORK/PAINT
With over 40 years of hands-on experience in automotive building and repair, James Bowler brings unmatched craftsmanship and creative vision to ReinCARnation Garage. A seasoned machinist, designer, and former shop teacher, James has built everything from custom frames and suspensions to complete scratch-built vehicles. He modified his first car—a 1967 VW Bug—at the age of 17 and never looked back.
James has a passion for blending old-school techniques with custom creativity, including the scratch-built 1950s-style sports car that showcases his signature style. Today, he drives a rugged 1967 International Travelall 4x4, a rolling testament to his dedication to function, form, and fabrication. If it’s made of metal, James can shape it, weld it, and make it better than new.
ALEX GERMAIN
ELECTRICAL SPECIALIST /INTERIORS /
BODY & REPAIR TECH
Alex Germain was practically born behind the wheel and raised in the shop. With a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and Industrial Electricity, Alex leads the charge when it comes to wiring, electrical diagnostics, and full interior restorations. From bodywork and maintenance to tracking down the hum in your dash, he’s the one making sure everything connects—literally.
His specialty? Restoring original car radios and bringing vintage electronics back to life. His passion? Studebakers and any car big enough to take up two parking spots. Whether he’s rebuilding a classic interior or getting a rare system working like new, Alex delivers the detail-driven craftsmanship that defines ReinCARnation Garage.
